| 09/04/2009 | INSP - FULL | Violation | The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business . Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). 1.__Problem: TThere is a cart blocking your electric panels near the freezer. TFC 605.3Working space and clearance. A working space of not less than 30 inches (762 mm) in width, 36 inches (914 mm) in depth and 78 inches (1981 mm) in height shall be provided in front of electrical service equipment. CORRECTION: You will provide the required clearance in front of your electric panels. 2.__Problem: There is an unchained 'empty' CO2 cylinder on the floor near the west kitchen exit. TFC 3003.5.3 Securing compressed gas containers, cylinders and tanks. Compressed gas containers, cylinders and tanks shall be secured to prevent falling caused by contact, vibration or seismic activity. CORRECTION: You will secure all compressed gas cylinders, bottles, etc. 3.__Problem: Your sprinkler riser access is blocked by rolling shelves. It is accessable, but obscure. TFC 510.1 Identification. Fire protection equipment shall be identified in an approved manner. Rooms containing controls for air-conditioning systems, sprinkler risers and valves, or other fire detection, suppression or control elements shall be identified for the use of the fire department. CORRECTION: You will place a sign in a visible place near the rolling shelves that states 'Sprinkler Riser'. 4.__Problem: The path to your west exit from the kitchen is blocked by stacked crates and empty boxes. Problem: IFC 1028.5 Objects shall not be placed so as to obstruct exits. 5.__Problem: The Tucson Fire Department is committed to the protection of your property and your life safety.
