| 08/13/2009 | INSP - FULL | Violation | The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business . Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). 1.__Problem: There are carts of buns blocking your 3 electrical panels in the back room. TFC 605.3 Working space and clearance. A working space of not less than 30 inches (762 mm) in width, 36 inches (914 mm) in depth and 78 inches (1981 mm) in height shall be provided in front of electrical service equipment. CORRECTION: Carts were moved upon initial inspection. 2.__Problem: There is an opening in your wall in the break/training room with an exposed wire. TFC 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. CORRECTION: You will cap off the exposed wire and place a cover plate over the opening in the wall. 3.__Problem: There are combustible boxes stored right up against your hot water heater. TFC 315.2 Storage in buildings. Storage of combustible materials in buildings shall be orderly. Storage shall be separated from heaters or heating devices by distance or shielding so that ignition cannot occur. CORRECTION: Boxes were removed from area upon inspection.
