Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). 1.__Problem: Your emergency lighting is not working properly. TFC: 1006.1 Illumination required. The means of egress, including the exit discharge, shall be illuminated at all times the building space served by the means of egress is occupied. CORRECTION: You will have your bulbs or batteries replaced as necessary at your front exit enclosure, fornt door, South rear exit hall sign, over South exit, and the emergency lighting over the Pet grooming exit. 2.__Problem: There is an extension cord at front register #2. TFC: 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. CORRECTION: You will remove the extension cord from use. A powerstrip with oversurge protection is allowed. Thank you for the sprinkler system test report. You need to have your alarm system tested and provide a copy of that report.
