Relocatable power taps shall be directly connected to a permanently installed receptacle. ____All relocatable power strips in front and rear of building must be pluged into an approved electrical outlet. Plugging one relocatable power strip into another shall not be allowed. IFC.605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. ____Extension cord in front office laying across floor shall not be used as permanent wireing. IFC.605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. ____Open junction boxes in office 1 and office 2 must have a proper electrical cover box. |
