On 5-22-09, a re-inspection was conducted and the following International Fire Code 2006 Violation(s) was noted: 1). Fire alarm panel is showing smoke detector malfunction. The smoke detector or panel must repaired. IFC 901.6 states: 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. This letter is to inform you that abatement of these Tucson Fire Code violations must be completed by 6-11-09. A re-inspection shall be conducted at that time to ensure compliance. Failure to comply with these Tucson Fire Code requirements could result in civil litigation under; City of Tucson Ordinance 9609. |
