The following Tucson Fire Code Violations were noted: Problem: IFC 605.4 Multiplug adapters. Multiplug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other device not complying with the ICC Electrical Code shall be prohibited. Correction: You will remove from service, the powerstrip that you wired an extension cord to. This work has removed the UL listing from this appliance and it is deemed a hazardous condition. Replace it with a UL listed powerstrip that has not been altered. |

Hoods, grease-removal devices, fans, ducts and other appurtenances shall be cleaned at intervals necessary to prevent the accumulation of grease. Cleanings shall be recorded, and records shall state the extent, time and date of cleaning. Such records shall be maintained on the premises. Correction: You stated that your hood system ductwork has never been cleaned from hood through to the roof. You will have your duct work cleaned in this manner by a qualified individual or company. Paperwork of this cleaning will be provided to the fire official upon reinspection on 3/26/09. |
