The HMIS shall include the following information: 1. Manufacturer's name. 2. Chemical name, trade names, hazardous ingredients. 3. Hazard classification. 4. MSDS or equivalent. 5. United Nations (UN), North America (NA) or the Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) identification number. 6. Maximum quantity stored or used on-site at one time. 7. Storage conditions related to the storage type, temperature and pressure.
Problem: IFC 407.2 Material Safety Data Sheets. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all hazardous materials shall be readily available on the premises.
CORRECTION: You will prepare an index of your hazardous materials at the front of your MSDS book, and provide for every haz mat on the premises.
01/07/2009 INSP - FULL Violation Problem: IFC 3105.1 Indoor use. The indoor use of corrosive materials shall be in accordance with Sections 2701, 2703, 2705 and this chapter.
CORRECTION: YOU WILL CAP YOUR GALLON OF MURIATIC ACID, AND KEEP IT STORED IN A PLACE IT
CAN NOT BE TIPPED OVER ONTO THE FLOOR.

CORRECTION: YOU WILL MAINTAIN YOUR WASTE TIRE STORAGE PILE AT A LEVEL BELOW 6 FEET
HIGH AND 10 FEET FROM YOUR BUILDING AT ALL TIMES.
