Property is in the Barrior Anita Historic District. Inspection of property confirmed vacant status. Property consists of main original structure with several unpermitted and dilapidated attached and unattached assessory structures. The unpermitted structures may not be included in the historical status since they are not original. Main structure is visibly dilapidated with damage to the roof, foundation, exterior walls, windows (north side), and front porch which is dilapidated to the point the roof is sagging. Roof is currently covered with tarps. Condition of the earth on the north side of structure and front porch suggest a problem with drainage and subsidence. Attached ramada on the south side of main structure is dilapidated and constructed without permits with unfinished natural materials, such as tree branches, and lattice. Attached rear porch is dilapidated, was constructed without permits, is clearly not built to code with unfinished materials used. Rear unattached structures were built without permits and are dilapidated; no permits were found in historical search; all structures are attached together; there appears to be three(3) enclosed structures attached at separate times, a carport, and several ramada structures constructed with unfinished materials. The carport posts have rotted to the point that several kickers have been added to support roof. One of the enclosed structures closest to carport is open on portions of the roof, allowing moisture to penentrate interior in addition to plumbing and electrical work without permits. Exterior water heater on west side of main structure has not been installed according to accepted code and does not have permits on file. There are non-gfci exterior outlets under the rear porch. An electrical reconnect permit denied in 2008 T08EL00524 also indicates similar conditions as was noted in this inspection. Notice of violation will be sent as two separate notices, one for the original main structure and one for the unpermitted assessory structures that may not be considered historical.
