06/15/2010 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Accumulation of refuse in rear yard-- dog waste. Accumulation of refuse in alley behind property. Front building has been remodeled on interior with the addition of a wall and possible electrical. Exposed electrical and misuse of extension cords is present. Added porch and A/C unit requires permit. Both A/C, porch, and remodel previously identifed: mechanical permit for A/C has been issued in March, but no inspections have been scheduled. Permit for remodel has been applied for 11/2009 with plans resubmitted 2/2010, but has since been withdrawn and not approved. Shed in rear is OK per previous review by PDSD. Trailers removed from rear of property, but one remains on west side of front building with attached extension cord; may still be used as living space.
03/01/2010 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met friend of owner and owner not home. Nothing done on removal of porches. When I met with owner he stated that porches would be removed. Checked Permits Plus and a permit has been issued for a shed in the back and no change on other permit for buidling in front. Will follow up in 45 days. Reinspection fee to be charged.
01/14/2010 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with Ernie and has met with D.S.D., but nothing done to apply for permit. Went over items that needed to be addressed. Had a contractor onsite and went over option on porches in back. Looked at wall added divided 1-room into 2-separate rooms. Went over with son of owner about reinspection fee for inspection. Advised that if nothing on next inspection, another fee will be charged. 1st reinspection fee to be charged. Will follow up in 45 days.
11/30/2009 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met brother of property owner from out of town. Went over requirements for permits and where violation exists. He will be doing work from out of town. Will check in 45 days.
11/05/2009 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Met with tenant due to selling items in front of store. Had Ernie sign paperwork and gave copy of $75.00 reinspection fee for not being in compliance. Had sign removed and items moved back into building. Advised that property is being watched by supervision and office is down the street. Will keep same follow up date.
10/16/2009 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Stopped by property and met friend from rear unit and talked to Ernie staying in front unit (Owner not on site).
