There is a family member staying in the house and gained access to the work done and looked at the bathroom. The bathroom is still intact and not being used. Currently that bathroom being used as a storage room and has another bathroom in hall. I did call the owner and went over on the fixtures being removed to abate the issue. 10/09/2009 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved On 10-09-09 I received a call that a stop work order was being posted at the site. I advised a stop work order can't be posted due to I gave permission to remove Items not permitted to abate the issues. Went to the site and when I arrived, there was 8-neighbors meeting with the owner and the tenant going to live there. The inspector went over that permission was granted to remove the 2-rooms on each side of the house and the back room where they were connecting the house to a gazebo. This was being done due to no permit had been issued and a permit is not required if no permit has been issued for the work.
We than went over the issue of the people going to stay in the house. Tenant was going to move 5 people into the home and they were mental health people with no restriction on being in the neighborhood or record of being arrested. The neighbor were being told that drug additics were going to move in or people coming out of prison. The tenant assured that only people with mental issues were going to move in and if they have issues with the people staying in the house that they are asked to leave once they are told of the incident. There was not going to be any medicine given to the people staying in the home and if they have medication to take, it has to be on their own due to no medical staff will be at the location.
The neighbors were told at the end if they want to see the inside of the house when the people were here that they are invited at any time they want to check the house out.
10/01/2009 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved NOV issued on site for violations and delivered on site.
