Visited site today. Nobody at house. Power is on and water is on. Spoke with Inspector Vidal and he related he had given the owner permission to enter the home to clean up. The exterior front is in need of some clean up however minimal work is needed. The read yard is in need of a great deal of clean up and weeding. Interior condition is unknown at this time. |

I went to the property and met the owner at site. I had the plywood covering the front door removed and the owner enter the house. He removed items that he needed and was able to find a key to lock the front door. The plywood will remain off unless the owner starts staying inside the house. The owner was advised that he could come during the day to clean or repair items to move back into the house. He has someone coming to look at the cooler. Advised Matthew that if cooler is repaired, roof fixed, house cleaned up, and plumbing repaired to be working in bathroom and kitchen, that he could move back into the house. Front door was locked with a key and front re-posted with "Do Not Enter" sign and owner went back to Salvation Army. Matthew will be calling me to let me know when he's working on the property. |
