Jason came into the Planning & Development Services Department today with plans for review on the porch located on the west elevation of the residence. I reviewed his plans for historic submittal and referred him to our residential and zoning sections for review/comment. It appears he has all the requirements to proceed to historic review which will include the West University Historic Preservation Zone Advisory Board (December 29th) and the Tucson-Pima County Historical Commission (January 14th).

The PDSD Director will issue an approval letter on or about January 15th so building permits can be obtained that include waiving the east property line building setback along with a 1-hour fire wall with the concurrence of the affected property owner to the east.
