INSIDE THE DWELLING FOUND TWO BIKES, FOOD CONTAINERS, BEER CANS, MATTRESS AND CLOTHING. ROOMS HAVE UNPERMITTED WORK SUCH AS NEW ROMEX WIRING IN THE CEILING, A HEAT PUMP AND NEW FLEX MECHANICAL TUBING INSTALLED. THE CEILING PLASTER WAS REMOVED, NEW CONDUIT IN LIVING ROOM. THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM HAS HAD ALL SINKS AND BATH TUB REMOVED, EXPOSED ABS PIPING. THERE ARE TWO DOORS MISSING ALONE WITH FOUR WINDOWS. THE EXTERIOR WALL HAS A NEW DISCONNECT INSTALL NEW RISER UNCONNECTED. IN THIS DWELLING THERE IS EVIDENCE OF SOMEONE LIVING IN THE DWELLING. THE UNIT IS BEING POWER BY EXTENSION CORDS FORM THE REAR DWELLING. THIS DWELLING IS NOT FIT TO BE OCCUPIED AND HAS BEEN CONDEMNED. NO ADEQUATE AND SAFE ELECTRICAL POWER IS BEING PROVIDED TO THIS DWELLING. THE CENTER DWELLING IS ALSO BEING POWERED BY EXTENSION CORDS. ONE EXTENSION CORD IS RUNNING OVER TO A SMALL WATER HEATER. THE EXTERIOR WALL HAS A NEW DISCONNECT AND RISER INSTALLED. THE OWNER IS OCCUPYING THIS UNIT. THE REAR UNIT ELECTRICAL DISCONNECT HAS AN ADDED PANEL BOARD WITH BREAKERS AND RACEWAYS SUPPLYING POWER TO A DRYER AND KITCHENS STOVE. ONE OF THE METERS HAS A BLUE TAG. THE SECOND DISCONNECT WAS INSTALLED WITHOUT PERMITS AND HAS ROMEX RUNNING TO UNKNOWN DESTINATIONS. THE GARAGE AND THE BASEMENT HAVE NEW JUNCTION BOXES. THE KITCHEN HAS 4 SETS EXTENSION CORDS RUNNING IN AND OUT OF THE HOUSE. THE KITCHEN AREA HAS A NEW FRAMED WALL AND EXPOSED WIRING THAT IS ENERGIZED. THERE IS ALSO NEW COPPER PIPING INSTALLED. THE ROOF HAS A GRAY CONDUCTOR RUNNING FROM THE MAIN DISCONNECT AREA TO AN OLD WEATHER HEAD THEN TO THE CENTER DWELLING PANEL BOARD. THESE DWELLING HAVE HAD WORK DONE WITHOUT OBTAINING PROPER PERMITS, I FOUND HAZARDOUS WIRING THROUGH OUT THE PROPERTY. TEP IS ON SITE TO DISCONNECT POWER DUE TO NON PAYMENT. I ORDER THE POWER TO BE CUT AT THE POLE DUE TO ALL THE UNPERMITTED WORK AND THE USE OF EXTENSION CORDS IN LIEU OF PERMANENT WIRING. I ISSUED AN ORDER TO VACATE AND POSTED THE THREE DWELLING UNFIT TO OCCUPY. I AM REQUIRING PLANS REVIEW OF WORK SUCH AS ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, STRUCTURAL, ALONG ALL PROPER PERMITS. ALL WORK TO BE DONE BY A LICENSE CONTRACTOR. AFTER ALL REPAIRS ARE COMPLETE THEN AN INSPECTION FROM THE CODE ENFORCEMENT UNIT WILL BE DONE TO DETERMINE OCCUPANCY. NOTICE OF VIOLATION ISSUED FOR THE SECURING OF THE FRONT DWELLING ALL WINDOW AND DOOR OPENING. TO BE SECURED WITHIN 15 DAYS. |
