I responded to a call from TPD on 04-09-09 for minimum housing violations and unsanitary living conditions. I discovered that house to have no active utilities. Water, Electric and Gas have been disconnected. The owner has been living without utilities for some time evidenced by the conditions inside the home, see pictures in SIRE. The police summoned the Fire department for medical aid and the owner, Patricia Counts, was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Due to the hazardous conditions inside the residence and the lack of utilities I condemned the house. Bathcrest was called to the scene to secure the house. The house was posted and condemned. |
