Called out by TPD for a vacant and unsecured building. Found a large building which appeared to be under renovation. The property was surrounded by a chain link fence however there were 2 points where the fence had been opened, allowing access to the structure. The structure is 3 stories in height with a full basement. The ground floor area is approximately 8400 sq. ft. The total area of the building is appx. 34000 sq. ft. I used 4 pieces of chain and 4 pad locks to secure the 2 points in the fence that were unsecured. I used one additional pad lock to secure a storage shed located at the south property line. Area Inspector to follow up as appropriate. |
