They will be reviewed and then if acceptable, a copy will be provided to the PDSD Engineering Inspector for final grading inspections. For Grading Permit Project Closure documentation, submit: one copy of original grading plans, 2 copies of as-builts, letters of completion (one for the subsurface drainage system and other drainage improvements, and another for substantial completion of the Phase 1 project. Be aware that geotechnical field reports will need to be provided during grading activities as needed, and at final project closure. Field reports and letters are required for subsurface improvements, compaction for buildings and bridge abutments, other field observations as recommended per geotechnical report, and for final completion. As-builts shall include: low chord elevations on bridges, inverts for inlets and outlets of drainage pipes/systems, and general grades as determined by RLS to show substantial completion.
