| 10/10/2008 | INSP - LIFE SAFETY | Correction Required | I recieved the following e-mail on 10/10/08, it was sent on 10/10/08 from acting captian Erik Vail: On the evening of 10/09/08 at approx 2310, eng. 4 responded to 1550 W Grant rd. for a fire alarm. Upon arrival, eng. 4 found that the glass from sprinkler head in room #117, towards the bathroom, had been broken and water was flowing from the system. TFD alarm # 62838. The water was shut down from the system, the sprinkler head replaced and system placed back in service. The manager was notified to contact sprinkler system company for evaluation. I also notified him that the TFD inspectors would possible be getting a hold of him the next business day. The occupant denies any foul play, and was moved to another room. |
