Dear Mr. Sisk,

The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business on August 27, 2008. Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. The 2006 International Fire Code with modifications requires compliance. A Re-inspection will be performed on or about September 12, 2008.

3404.2.7.3.3 Vent pipe outlets. Vent outlets on atmospheric tanks storing Class IIIB liquids are allowed to discharge inside a building if the vent is a normally closed vent.
- Normally closed vents shall be installed on the 3 oil tanks or the vents must discharge outside the building. This is also known as a pressure/vacuum style vent.

3404.2.7.4 Emergency venting. Stationary, above-ground tanks shall be equipped with additional venting that will relieve excessive internal pressure caused by exposure to fires.

- Emergency venting must be installed. The vents must be the appropriate size for the tank. The tank manufacturer determines the size of vent required and the volume of venting required.

Re-Inspected by __________________ Approved Disapproved

Sincerely,

Conrad Funke
