Exception: Where each dwelling unit or sleeping unit has direct access to the outside of the building at grade. ____Install one Emergency lighting unit near front/main exit and one near 2nd exit in dining room. |

Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. 1008.2 Gates. Gates serving the means of egress system shall comply with the requirements of this section. Gates used as a component in a means of egress shall conform to the applicable requirements for doors. ____Remove double-keyed deadbolts from front security gate and rear security gate.
