Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. 1008.1.8.5 Unlatching. The unlatching of any door or leaf shall not require more than one operation. 1028.2 Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits or exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency when the areas served by such exits are occupied. _____ Remove the self locking security grills from the side egress doors. Panic hardware was installed as approved conditions and the main entrance doors are the only location where door grills are allowed. 1027.5 Illumination emergency power. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises' electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, illumination shall be automatically provided from an emergency system for the following occupancies where such occupancies require two or more means of egress: all Emergency lighting shall be functional and properly maintained in conjunction with IFC section 1027. _____ Fix, repair, and/or replace the emergency lighting in order to meet code standards (East wall, North/East wall, North/West wall) ________________________________________________ (Joseph P.
