08/28/2008 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS Correction Required TFC 1027.5 Illumination emergency power. The power supply for
means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the
premises’ electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure,
illumination shall be automatically provided from an
emergency system.

08/28/2008 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS Correction Required TFC 1025.11.3 Tread contrasting marking stripe. A contrasting
marking stripe shall be provided on each tread at the nosing
or leading edge such that the location of each tread is
readily apparent when viewed in descent. Such stripe shall
be a minimum of 1 inch (25 mm), and a maximum of 2
inches (51 mm), wide.

TFC 1006.2 Illumination level. The means of egress illumination
level shall not be less than 1 foot-candle (11 lux) at the walking
surface level.
