| 08/12/2008 | VIOL - FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS | Approved | TFC 904.11 Hood extinguishing systems shall be inspected every six months (minimum), or after activation, or repair. The hood system is out of compliance at this time. A written proposal for service to bring the system into compliance, must be obtained by 5 pm. on 8/26/08. Furthermore, the system must be repaired/tested/tagged (in full compliance) by 5 pm. on 9/11/08. This Inspector must be notified (235-4446) when these benchmarks are achieved. If these benchmarks are not achieved or this Inspector is not notified, the cooking system may be "Red Tagged" and placed out-of-service by TFD. Until full compliance is achieved, three (3) BC extinguishers shall be accessible in the kitchen area at all times. Failure to comply with the above may result in a citation being issued which will require an appearance in Court and a probable fine. |
