09/15/2008 INSP - FULL Approved 11 Sep: I still have not been able to contact Ron Haymore. The gate has not been changed.
15 Sep: Status unchanged; I will go to the maintenance office to see what the situation is.
08/29/2008 INSP - FULL Approved I made a follow-up visit to find the situation unchanged. I left a message on Ron Hayward's voice mail.
08/20/2008 INSP - FULL Approved I visited the site to find the situation unchanged. Talked with the Facilities Superintendent who has a specialist scheduled this week to assess required work.
08/01/2008 INSP - FULL Approved I inspected the school to find a security gate in the main egress path of travel. It is meant to force people to go through the office in order to gain access onto the main campass. The gate rquires a key to unlock it and the polls which secure the gate in place need to be lifted in order to open the gate. This is not in the egress path of travel. However, a single gate located east of the ADMIN building is in the egress path of travel and requires panic hardware.
I have issued an occupancy inspection report on 8/04/08 requiring panic hardaware, or some other method be installed to allow for quick and uncomplicated exit.
07/31/2008 INSP - FULL Correction Required Complaintant Michael Gordon (at 307-0373) called to report a double lock preventing main exit gates from opening.
