side provided:
-- 2.1. The locking device is readily distinguishable as locked,
-- 2.2. A readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch (25 mm) high on a contrasting background,
-- 2.3. The use of the key-operated locking device is revokable by the fire code official for due cause.

1011.5.3 Power source.
Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times. To ensure continued illumination for the duration of not less than 90 minutes in case of primary power loss, the sign illumination means shall be connected to an emergency power system provided from storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator. The installation of the emergency power system shall be in accordance with Section 2702 of the International Building Code

1027.5 Illumination emergency power.
The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises' electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, illumination shall be automatically provided from an emergency system for the following occupancies where such occupancies require two or more means of egress: all Emergency lighting shall be functional and properly maintained in conjunction with IFC section 1027.
