Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). ___1. PROBLEM: Next to apartment 8 portable fire extinguisher cabinet is damaged and portable fire extinguisher is missing. TFC REFERENCE: 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Either have fire extinguishers serviced regularly and replaced when missing or remove all portable fire extinguishers and the cabinets that contain them. ___2. PROBLEM: Cube adapter used in office area. TFC REFERENCE: 605.4 Multiplug adapters. Multiplug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other device not complying with the ICC Electrical Code shall be prohibited. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Remove cube adapter from outlet.
