Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). ___1. PROBLEM: Brown and white "cube adapters" used on power strip at front of store. TFC REFERENCE: 605.4 Multiplug adapters. Multiplug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other device not complying with the ICC Electrical Code shall be prohibited. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Plug appliances directly into power strip. Remove cube adapters. ___2. PROBLEM: Brown extension cord used behind counter and orange and grey extension cord leading from under mounted fish into store room. TFC REFERENCE: 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Plug appliances directly into outlet or use GFI protected power strip. ___3. PROBLEM: Exposed wires on power bar on back counter below mounted buffalo head. TFC REFERENCE: 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Replace cover on power strip so that wires are not exposed. ___4. PROBLEM: Two open light sockets above back door. TFC REFERENCE: 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Replace missing light bulbs. ___5. PROBLEM: Some buildup of weeds along west side of outside storage container. TFC REFERENCE: 304.1.2 Vegetation. Weeds, grass, vines or other growth that is capable of being ignited and endangering property, shall be cut down and removed by the owner or occupant of the premises. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Have weeds cut down and removed.
