New and existing buildings shall have approved address numbers, building numbers or approved building identification placed in a position that is plainly legible and visible from the street or road fronting the property. _____ Move current address numbers to a new location in order to comply with the code which states that it must be "legible" from the street or road. The current location makes it hard to see "fully". 508.5.4 Obstruction. Posts, fences, vehicles, growth, trash, storage and other materials or objects shall not be placed or kept near fire hydrants, fire department inlet connections or fire protection system control valves in a manner that would prevent such equipment or fire hydrants from being immediately discernible. The fire department shall not be deterred or hindered from gaining immediate access to fire protection equipment or fire hydrants. _____ Move all storage, equipment, or obstruction away from sprinkler riser. All fire feature must be accessible with out any hindrance 510.1 Identification Fire protection equipment shall be identified in an approved manner. Rooms containing controls for air conditioning, sprinkler risers and valves, or other fire detection, suppression, or control elements shall be identified for use of the fire department. Approved signs required to identify fire protection equipment and equipment location, shall be constructed of durable materials, permanently installed and readily visible. ____ On riser room door, with large legiable letters place the words "RISER ROOM" to properly indentify the location of the fire service feature. |
