On 04-04-08, I received a complaint from E13A, reference run #21221, regarding a gasoline spill at Circle K, 7510 E. 22nd St. There was a concern that the fuel dispenser may be faulty, and that there were no spill cleanup materials, nor a spill abatement program in place for the employees. I responded in the afternoon, approx. 1400 hrs. I witnessed the operation of the pump in question (pump #9), all is well, fully functional. However, the spill kit is empty, I will order the employees to be re-trained in proper spill procedures per corporate policy. |
