Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. 1028.3 Obstructions. A means of egress shall be free from obstructions that would prevent its use. ____ Move all objects that block direct access to the south east egress door. Proper access will be maintained at all times. _____ Remove double key lock from south est door and replace with a thumb-turn lock. 1011.5.3 Power source. Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times. To ensure continued illumination for a duration of not less than 90 minutes in case of primary power loss, the sign illumination means shall be connected to an emergency power system provided from storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator.
