03/25/2008 INSP - FULL Correction Required The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business . Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications).

___1.PROBLEM: Orange extension cord used for radio in office and another orange extension cord leading into freezer.
TFC REFERENCE: 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Appliances must be plugged directly into electrical outlet or into approved GFI power strip. Extension cords are not to be used.

___2. PROBLEM: Power strip is plugged into grey extension cord.
TFC REFERENCE: 605.4.2 Power supply. Relocatable power taps shall be directly connected to a permanently installed receptacle.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Power strip must be directly plugged into outlet.

___3. PROBLEM: Open light socket above oven.
TFC REFERENCE: 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Put proper light bulbs into open light sockets or insert a cap.

___4. PROBLEM: Cube adapter used in office and an orange one used under front counter.
TFC REFERENCE: 605.4 Multiplug adapters. Multiplug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other device not complying with the ICC Electrical Code shall be prohibited.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Plug appliances directly into outlet or use approved GFI power strip.

___5. PROBLEM: Certificate of Occupancy not available for viewing.
TFC REFERENCE:105.3.5 Posting the permit. Issued permits shall be kept on the premises designated therein at all times and shall be
readily available for inspection by the fire code official.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Have Certificate of Occupancy posted for viewing by fire code official.
