Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). ___1. PROBLEM: Certificate of Occupancy not available for inspection. TFC REFERENCE: 105.3.5 Posting the permit. Issued permits shall be kept on the premises designated therein at all times and shall be readily available for inspection by the fire code official. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Have C of O posted and available so fire code official can examine. ___2. PROBLEM: Storage and other materials partially blocking access to sprinkler riser. Also moldings draped over sprinkler riser piping. TFC REFERENCE: 508.5.4 Obstruction. Posts, fences, vehicles, growth, trash, storage and other materials or objects shall not be placed or kept near fire hydrants, fire department inlet connections or fire protection system control valves in a manner thatwould prevent such equipment or fire hydrants from being immediately discernible. The fire department shall not be deterred or hindered from gaining immediate access to fire protection equipment or fire hydrants. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Keep area around sprinkler riser clear so that sprinkler control valves are accessible. Also, nothing is permitted to be draped over or stored on top of sprinkler piping. ___3. PROBLEM: Emergency lights in front not functioning. TFC REFERENCE: 1006.1 Illumination required. The means of egress, including the exit discharge, shall be illuminated at all times the building space served by the means of egress is occupied.
