Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications).

___1. PROBLEM: Compressed gas tanks in break room are unsecured.
TFC REFERENCE: 3003.5.3 Securing compressed gas containers, cylinders and tanks. Compressed gas containers, cylinders and tanks shall be secured to prevent falling caused by contact, vibration or seismic activity.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Secure compressed gas cylinders against the danger of falling.

___2. PROBLEM: Double door exits with double key lock need sign above door indicating that door is to remain unlocked while building is occupied.
TFC REFERENCE: 1008.1.8.3 Locks and latches. 2.2. A readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch (25 mm) high on a contrasting background,
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Have required signage placed above both doors.

___3. PROBLEM: Certificate of Occupancy not posted.
TFC RFERENCE: 105.3.5 Posting the permit. Issued permits shall be kept on the premises designated therein at all times and shall be readily available for inspection by the fire code official.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Have Certificate of Occupancy posted in a readily visible location for inspection by fire code official.

___4. PROBLEM: Paper work for maintenance on hood suppression system not available for fire inspector to examine.
TFC REFERENCE: 901.6.2 Records. Records of all system inspections, tests and maintenance required by the referenced standards shall be maintained on the premises for a minimum of three years and shall be copied to the fire code official upon request.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: Maintain copies of all service performed on hood system. Keep these records on the premises for inspection by the fire code official.
