Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). ___1. PROBLEM: Inspection tag on portable fire extinguisher shows last inspection/servicing was in 2006. TFC REFERENCE: 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Have portable fire extinguisher serviced by a qualified professional. ___2. PROBLEM: Portable fire extinguisher is not mounted on a bracket. TFC REFERENCE: 906.7 Hangers and brackets. Hand-held portable fire extinguishers, not housed in cabinets, shall be installed on the hangers or brackets supplied. Hangers or brackets shall be securely anchored to the mounting surface in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Have fire extinguisher mounted on an approved bracket. ___3. PROBLEM: Sprinkler head above bread tray has intermittent leak per employee observation. Not leaking or wet at time of inspection. TFC REFERENCE: 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective.
