TFC 506.1 Key box. Specific requirements. Purchase a fire depatment lock box and flush mount the box to the east side of the building by the south restroom wall. Mount the box at approximately 5 feet from the floor near the entry gate. Provide a key to the office and a diagram or map of where the office is in relation to the lock box. Post signs indicating the direction of the office in relation to the lock box. The keys to all the studios shall be clearly labeled with the studio number they belong to. Label the container storing all the keys with the wording,"FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS KEYS." Keep the key storage container in a conspicuous location where they will be readily accessible and immediately available for use. A second FD lock box in the office is reccomended for more security. |
