Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). ___1. PROBLEM: Fire extinguisher lacks a service tag TFC REFERENCE: 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Portable Fire extinguisher must be serviced annually or removed. ___2. PROBLEM: Lint build up and combustible materials behind dryer. Over time this could be a fire hazard. TFC REFERENCE: Section 316.2 Clothes dryers.(cot mod) Clothes dryers shall be frequently cleaned to maintain the lint trap and mechanical and heating components free from excessive accumulations of lint. REQUIRED CORRECTION: Clean lint and combustible material from around back of dryer. ___3. PROBLEM: Multi-plug adapter on outlet on north wall. TFC REFERENCE: 605.4 Multiplug adapters. Multiplug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other device not complying with the ICC Electrical Code shall be prohibited.
