Harrison Tucson, AZ. 85730 Mr. Frame The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business on August 21, 2007. Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2006 International Fire Code (with modifications). A Re-inspection will be performed on or about September 5, 2007 Notice of Violations: _____ 1026.3 Exit sign illumination. Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source, shall have an intensity of not less than foot-candles (54 lux). Internally illuminated signs shall provide equivalent luminance and be listed for the purpose: · Main front door · Central rear exit ____ 605.1 Abatement of electrical hazards. Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the code official responsible for enforcement of the ICC Electrical Code. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used: · Replace the electrical cover-plate in the kitchen near the microwave. _____ 703.1 Maintenance. The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction (including walls, fire stops, shaft enclosures, partitions and floors) shall be maintained. Such elements shall be properly repaired, restored or replaced when damaged, altered, breached or penetrated. Openings made therein for the passage of pipes, electrical conduit, wires, ducts, air transfer openings, and holes made for any reason shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke and fire. · Replace the missing ceiling tiles in the kitchen. ---- _____ 1006.3 Illumination emergency power. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premise's electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, an emergency electrical system shall automatically illuminate the path of egress. · Repair the emergency back-up lighting near the Northwest Exit.
