IFC 2703.5 Locations where hazardous materials are stored in quantities requiring a permit shall have an NFPA 704 sign at specific entrances/locations specified by the fire code official. You shall place a NFPA 704 sign marking the oxidizer under special hazard and place 1 on the roll up doors and 1 on interior doors to storage area. |

IFC 2703.1.1(1) The maximum allowable quantity of a class 2 oxidizer in liquid format can not exceed 250 lbs in storage. Where the building is sprinklered, this amount can increase 100 %. These exceptions can be applied accumulatively. You will remove any amount of liquid oxygen in storage that exceeds your exempt amounts. Youare currently classified as an H-3 occumpancy. All excess amounts will be removed before 8/2/2007 at noon. |
