Harrison Tucson, AZ. 85748 Mrs. Minyard The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business on June 19, 2007. Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2003 International Fire Code (with modifications). A Re-inspection will be performed on or about July 3, 2007 Notice of Violations: _____ 703.1 Maintenance. The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction (including walls, fire stops, shaft enclosures, partitions and floors) shall be maintained. Such elements shall be properly repaired, restored or replaced when damaged, altered, breached or penetrated. · Replace the missing and misplaced ceiling tiles throughout the business _____ 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. · Break room behind the refrigerator _____ 901.6/ 901.7 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire extinguishers shall be serviced annually and properly mounted: · Currently there are two extinguishers in the business that must be serviced and properly mounted. _____ 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. · Do not use extension cords as a substitute for permanent wiring. Currently there are two extension cords plugged into the ceiling in the break room. _____ 316.1 Heat-producing Appliances. Heating appliances shall be installed and maintained in accordance with their listing and the City of Tucson Building, Electrical, and Mechanical codes. Clearance from combustible material shall be maintained as set forth in the Building codes and product listing. · Combustibles shall remain 3 feet from the water heater.
