You are hereby ordered to stop operation of your deep fat fryers, grill, and range until your system is tested by a qualified company for automatic fire extinguishing systems for a commercial cooking system, and records of such inspection are made available for the fire code official.
05/31/2007 VIOL - FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS Violation IFC 904.11.6.3 Hoods, grease removal devices, fans, ducts, and appurtenances shall be cleaned at intervals necessary to prevent the accumulation of grease. You are hereby ordered to stop operation of your deep fat fryers, grill, and range, until your hood, ventilation system and duct work are cleaned by a qualified company from roof to hood. Filters shall be maintained free of build ups of grease and combustible dust fibers. Grease on ceiling and surrounding wall and appliances will be cleaned. Paperwork of such cleaning will be provided to the fire code official before operation of equipment can commence.
