Broadway Tucson, AZ. 85719 Mrs. Zabramny The Tucson Fire Department has conducted a fire safety inspection at the above stated business on May 23, 2007. Below is a list of violations that shall be corrected to provide compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Compliance is required by the 2003 International Fire Code (with modifications). A Re-inspection will be performed on or about June 6, 2007 Notice of Violations: ____ 605.1/ 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. · Replace the missing electrical cover plate outside of Rosanna's office ____ 906.2 General requirements. Fire extinguishers shall be selected, installed and maintained in accordance with this section and NFPA 10. · Service the fire extinguisher near the side entrance ____ 605.4.2 Power supply. Relocatable power taps shall be directly connected to a permanently installed receptacle. · Do not run power strips in a series: Rosanna's desk ____ 605.5 Extension Cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. · Remove the extension cord in Ed's office ____ 1006.1 Illumination required. The means of egress, including the exit discharge, shall be illuminated at all times the building space served by the means of egress is occupied. Illuminate, in an approved manner, all exits required by the Building Official. · The exit Sign near Tiffany's office shall be illuminated at all times.
