The hotel is open 24-7 and there is someone at the front desk at all times with the keys. They are instucted to meet the fire department at the front door with all the keys. 2003 IFC-510.1 Fire protection equipment shall be identified for the use of the fire department. The two doors to the riser room will be labeled RISER ROOM. This is so firefighters can locate the risers. |

| 04/12/2007 | INSP - FULL | Continued | Inspector Contreras assigned. Captain Moss from EN14-B called- ACCESS TO COMPLEX IS DIFFICULT. THEY HAVE 1 SET OF KEYS LOCATED IN AN UNCONSPICUOUS LOCATION. THE KEYS ARE IN A BREAK-GLASS TYPE OF BOX IN THE MANAGER'S OFFICE. ALSO THERE IS NOT A KEY BOX FOR ELEVATOR. CAPTAIN MOSS WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF WE CAN IMPROVE THIS SITUATION BY ADDING A KNOX BOX. HE WOULD BE WILLING TO MEET THE INSPECTOR AT THE PROPERTY IF NECESSARY. |
