09/13/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued Cathodic protection installed today. It will be activated and monitored for the next 7-10 days
09/10/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued Goudy Engineering is having trouble locating a safe place to drill for the cathodic protection. Drill rig is supposed to drill on 9-13-07.
08/01/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued Tank has been relined and fuel placed back in it. The portable tank is planned to be moved this week and has been cleaned out. Awaiting documentation of the re-lining process.
07/23/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued Tank was relined on 7/17/07. Rain storm on 7/21/07 left 18" H2O in tank. Contractor says the 4 days make the lining OK. H2O pumped out. Blue Stake will be out later and then 1st Choice Petroleum will sample soil to determine the proper quantity of sacrificial anode to be installed. It will take aprox 10 days to get samples back from lab. We reaffirmed that a tightness and CP test will have to be done prior to placing UST back in service.
07/03/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued Site inspection, tank that was delivered is not a listed fuel tank. It has been modified to allow for emergency venting. Product name and diamond affixed. Decision made to allow since no other tank available and requirement of back up power supercedes circumstances. Existing tank to be relined, 4 days to cure, cathodic protection installed and tested prior to being placed back in service.
06/22/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued Delivered pre-cite letter to Kevin Nelson of Carondelet. They will have to bring existing tank into compliance or apply for permit to install new AST by July 23, 2007. Signature obtained and letter on file.
06/14/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued met with Kevin and Dave, back-up power on trailer has been removed and 20K UST is now back on line. Carondelet is currently discussing whether they are going to reline tank or replace with an AST. I will provide them with a letter requiring them to reline or replace within 30 days.
06/07/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued Rod Reyes called. The hospital is looking at abandoning the current UST in place and installing a new AST. No time frame has been discussed.
04/27/2007 COMPL - REINSPECTION Continued UST still out of service. Will be relined soon. AST for back up power is in compliance. They have 2 x 400 gallon day tanks inside plant, also in compliance.
