Visible hazard identification signs as specified in NFPA 704 for the specific material contained shall be placed on stationary containers and above-ground tanks and at entrances to locations where hazardous materials are stored, dispensed, used or handled in quantities requiring a permit and at specific entrances and locations designated by the fire code official. Place a NFPA 704 diamond on the doors on the South Entrance to where your flammable liquids are stored, on inside and visible from all directions approaching storage area. Sign should list the highest hazard of comination of liquids stored.

03/19/2007 VIOL - HAZARDOUS MATERIALS,GEN Violation 2703.1.1(1) There shall not be more than 120 gallons combined of Class 1A, 1B, 1C flammable liquid per control area. Where a building is sprinklered that amount may double to 240 gallons. The amount of Class 1A and 1B flammable liquids may not exceed their exempt amounts 1) There are 98 (5 gallon) containers of Ink in addition to two 55 gallon drums of solvent and 1 55 gallon drum of white ink near the print press. Remove excess amounts not to exceed 240 gallons. 2) Storage of 18 empty 55 gallon drums on West portion of building must be removed from building immediatly and disposed of through a licensed company for the removal of empty containers.
