| 12/26/2007 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | Found building with electrical work that's been tampered with, extensive drywall work upstairs and large amounts of dry wall missing downstairs, water heater disconnected, no handrail on staircase, 2 refridgerators & stoves in yard. Flue looks questionable maybe too close to window on 2nd floor (code requires min 8ft) Flu looks to be less than 5ft to window . Electrical box is not labeled deadface found on ground. Electrical main wires were found to be live with electrical tester. Door on 2nd floor boarded up maybe an egress issue.... Talked to painter on property and he removed the refridgerators and stoves off the property while I was in the area. Contacted Officer John Murphy @ 403-3774 and updated him about the violation. Property came in as a complaint from the Tucson Police Department. House was wide open and had a lot of drug use inside. Upon my inspection I found the home had a lot dry wall ripped out and insullation lying on the floor. Water heater was disconnected. Stove and refridgerator were out side in the side yard. Electrical box had a breaker completely removed and place on top of the panel. Deadfront not labeled and lying in the dirt on the ground. Flue exhaust pipe on roof lett than 8 ft from window.... Requested HARVEY EVENCHICK get permits for all work. This is a rental property.... |
