Found roaches at apt 117. Roaches coming out of cabinets and out of holes in the ceiling. Occupant left bags of open food in cabinets and also had food out on the counters. Trash cans full of trash and the floor had food and debris on the floor. Talked to occupant "Maria" and explained she needed to do her part about keeping the place clean. Occupant got upset about this part of the problem. Apparently, she is normally clean.. (which I seriously doubt). But, ok... whatever... She mentioned she was going to get out of her contract and move out of the apartment tommorow and didn't really need us. She was already talking to the Health Department. BUT, what I'll do is send the apt mgr a NOV and advise them to plug up holes the roaches are coming out of and also have them spray the unit for roaches.... Also sent information to Maria Cazarez about how to prevent roaches.... |
