04/24/2008 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved VISITED SITE, FOUND MRS CARRASCO HAD COMPLETED BUILDING A WALL ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE PROPERTY THAT WAS NOW COMPLETELY HID ALL PROPERTY FROM PUBLIC VIEW, HOWEVER JUNK AND DEBRIS REMAINS IN THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY AND COVERS MORE THAN 25% OF THE YARD ACRE. PICTURES WERE TAKEN.
02/25/2008 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved VISITED SITE, FOUND SOME PLANTS HAD BEEN PLACED AND NEATLY STACKED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE PROPERTY. SOME PLANTS REMAINED SCATTERED THRU THE DEBRIS ON THE WEST SIDE. LITTLE HAD BEEN DONE TO REMOVE ANY DEBRIS FROM THE WEST SIDE OF THE PROPERTY AND DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE. LAST MET WITH THE OWNER ON 01/07/08 TO EXPLAIN THE ISSUE OF ILLEGAL STORAGE. BLOCK FROM REAR OF PROPERTY WAS REMOVED TO BUILD FRONT WALL. JMV REMOVED FROM REAR AND GRASS TRIMMED ORIGINALLY ON 11/29/07. ILLEGAL STORAGE STILL REMAINS AS OF 02/25/08
01/07/2008 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved MET OWNER ON SITE, EXPLAINED TO OWNER THE CITY CODE ON TRASH & DEBRIS AND ILLEGAL STORAGE. WALKED THE FRONT YARD AREA, EXPLAINED TO THE PLANTS AND PLANT STANDS THAT SHE WOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP AND THE TYPES OF "STUFF" THAT WOULD HAVE TO BE STORED OUT OF SITE OR THROWN AWAY. TRIED TO EXPLAIN ISSUES AND CITY STANCE ON HOW TO ABATE ISSUES. MENTIONED AT THIS POINT SHE ABTE THE ISSUES BEFORE HER COURT DATE AND RECEIVE ONLY MINIMUM FINES. WILL FOLLOW UP PRIOR TO COURT.
11/29/2007 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved VISITED SITE, FOUND 3 OF THE 4 ISSUES ON NOV HAD BEEN ABATED, THE 4TH ISSUE AND BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS THE ILLEGAL RESIDENTIAL STORAGE. KNOCKED ON OCCUPANT'S DOOR SEVERAL TIMES BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER. ON TOP O ABATING ITEMS 2, 3 & 4, OWNER BUILT A BLOCK WALL WITH WROUGHT IRON OPENINGS AND NO GATE HAS BEEN INSTALLED SO JUNK CAN STILL BE SEEN FROM THE STREET.
