08/17/2007 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Correction Required | TFD call-out. Resident/Tenant was experiencing problems with her electrical system. Upon inspection I found a 60 amp service which had been double-lugged to add additional circuit(s). In addition the all connections were loose, creating an overheating condition which burnt the wiring and internal components of the service panel. I turned the main service off and called the property owner, Wayne Hardy, whom dispatched an licensed electrical contractor. Bob Blizzard Electtrical responded and replaced the existing, burnt panel with a temporary panel so the tenant would have service for the weekend. I explained the issues to Mr. Hardy and told him he would need to obtain a permit ASAP and replace/upgrade the electrical service to the home. He acknowledged the he understood. Follow up 10 days. dc |
