10/31/2008 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Compliance review hearing before Judge Kagen, Tucson Municipal Court on 10-31-08.
Violation stands unabated.
Judge Kagen heard testimony from myself and the defendant as well as a representative of the Pima County Attorney's office and a resident of a property nearby the defendants property.
Judge Kagen granted the states motion to issue an "Court Order" to abate and gave the City of Tucson the authorization to demolish the structure and affect abatement of the violation(s).

The defendant indicated that a settlement in her litigation with the insurance companies involved was near, possible within the next 30 days, thereby allowing her to complete demolition prior to COT action.

COT will however begin process to demolish and abate violation(s).
09/03/2008 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE Approved Contact with owner revealed the hearing in her other court case was continued until October 22, 2008. She will not have an answer until after that time. The State motioned to vacate the September 5, 2008 review hearing and reset for October 31, 2008 @ 9:00 AM.
