| 07/17/2007 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Violation | Inspector R. Vidal initially responded to this case on an emergency call-out .... he found bee's behind the roof freeze board's & in the duplex units .... he contacted the property owner - Mr.Oscar Huerta ~ contact phone numbers - 954-1087 / 256-9224 spouse / 883-5865 sister / 882-3767 work - & advised him on the situation & the hazard to children .... since the owner wasn't able to have the bee's treated by the evening, he gave the City permission to do so. Thru City communications, Northwest Exterminating Co. was contacted & treated the infestation .... it would take approximately 2-3 days for the treatment to take full affect .... tenant, Mr.Alberto Gustelum phone 388-0635 was informed & if the situation should escalate, to contact our office again. I was contacted by my office the following day, the tenant had some concerns & requested an Inspector. I made contact with the tenant & assessed the situation .... no excessive number of bee's on the exterior & per the tenant's information, they had approximately five bee's inside the apartment .... the situation didn't warrant any additional action & I again advised the tenant to give the treatment another day or two to be effective. I gave the tenant my business card with my office phone number ( I later on called him to give him my cell phone number ) & advised him that should the situation escalate to contact me or my office if after working hours. |
