CALLED PROPERTY MANAGER, APL PROPERTIES, SPOKE WITH JENNIFER WEBB WHO MENTIONED A CHECK HAS BEEN CUT AND SENT TO THE OWNERS FOR DAMAGES, A THIRD PARTY WAS PUT ON THE CHECK - COULD NOT BE CASHED BY THE OWNERS - CHECK HAS TO BE SENT BACK - 3RD PARTY REMOVED AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RE-SENT. THE WINDOWS WERE DAMAGED ENOUGH THAT NEW WONDOWS HAVE ALREADY BEEN ORDERED AMD WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO MANUFACTURE. ONCE MONIES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED WHICH JENNIFER FEELS SHOULD BE BY THE END OF THE WEEK 07-13-07, WORK WILL BEGIN ON THE WALL PORCH POST AND FENCING. OWNERS DO LIVE IN CALIFORNIA, BIG PART OF THE DELAY. ASKED JENNIFER TO PLEASE CALL AND INFORM ME OF PROGRESS. JENNIFER COULD ONLY TELL ME THAT CONTRACTOR FOR BLOCK WALL AND WINDOW HAVE BEEN SET UP AND NOW WAITING FOR MONEY. JENNIFER WAS UNSURE OF ADDITIONAL TIME NEEDED, FELT WORK COULD BE DONE IN A WEEKS TIME. I WILL FOLLOW UP IN 21 DAYS. TWENTY-ONE DAY EXTENSION GRANTED. -Mel |
